Even though I was so sick on Valentine Day with Strep Throat but I did have some fun with created some goodie bags for my nieces and nephew. I couldn't do thing with Logan because I was so sick.
It was weird this time having strep. I don't know if it's because I am older and my body has changed since the miscarriage but it was really different. I usually know exactly when I have it but this time I gotten a swollen neck, front and back, and than the normal symptoms came. I've not slept well since my neck swollen up. Last night, dad talk me in taking medicine to help with my neck. About 30 minutes later, I was able to go to sleep...for about 7 hours and I actually have my voice back.
Anyways, I made the same goodies bags for Natalie and Emily and as for Taylor and Oaklen were the same too. They all love their presents. Valentine Day is also Taylor's birthday. Amanda is planning on having a birthday party for Taylor at Leo's this Sunday. I don't know what the theme is but I know that she is putting Taylor into singing lessons. So I got her some cd's that have disney princesses songs on it and a puzzle to go along with it.
Oh...as for my present, I just asked for some white orchids. I hoping this time Logan doesn't kill them.

Visit with Dr. Leavitt
So this morning (early morning), I had an appointment with Dr. Leavitt about my infertility problems. I do have to say that I am over joyed that he likes to do the cheaper stuff first than go to the bigger things. He seems like an awesome guy. He personally knows my older sister, Amanda and the best part about this doctor is that he's been through infertility himself. Anyways, here are the details.
1. I will be back on Metformin. 500mg for one week, 1000mg the following week for 2 weeks and 1500mg after that. He said that I will probably taking it until I hit 24 weeks and get an insulin test done to see if I would need to be on it the whole time or if I am fine without it. My older sister was actually ok with me going back on Metformin after asking some question about it.
2. I will also be taking Folic Acid 4 times a day. He said that by increasing the dosage amount on this vitamin will also help getting pregnant. It also helps with the development of the fetus brain too.
3. I have to stay on the clomid and provera so that I actually have cycles. He wants me to stay on the 100mg for the clomid.
We will be doing this for 3 - 6 months and see what happens. After that time period, he will run some test and some ultrasounds to check the my uterus and ovaries. If there he finds another problem he will probably work on that for a little while and if not than he will be having me try IUI and then IVF. When he told me the price that would cost for 4 of them, I couldn't believe it. 20,000 for 4 IVF and if none of them works I will get all the money back.
And now I have to get a hold of Dr. Wheeler to see if she wants me to stay on some of the supplements that I am on. I will also have to test my thyroid again to see how it is doing now. I think it's doing ok now. I have not have insomnia for a long time now. And Dr. Leavitt has agreed to communicate with Dr. Wheeler whenever I go see him. He told me that he will send all the notes from the appointment to Dr. Wheeler so that she is up to date on everything.
I am also thinking if my I have another high risk pregnancy than I may just stay with him. I don't know much about the other doctors in town but I am happy with the ones that I have right now. ^-^ Anyways, that's about it. I am going to go study up on Folic Acid so I know exactly what it does for me and getting pregnant.

Great Grandma's Death
My life couldn't get any harder than it has now. Infertility, family drama (much more than I like), 3rd round of clomid, and now my great grandma has died. Trial after trial...but right now I am so tired. Anyways, on with the story.
It start around on my birthday. I think I said it on the last post but I'll say it again. I was told that I needed to go to a infertility specialist...a few hours later I was called by my grandma and she told me that great grandma was dying...her heart was giving out. I don't think I was fulling prepare for something like that. I had a lot going on with me at the moment and just hearing that made my whole out look on things when from ok to very bad in seconds. Anyways, I spent most of the week prepare for her funeral. Great Grandma died on the 30th at 5 am in the morning. I had gotten the called from Uncle Ralph around 7:30 am letting me know that she had passed. I was lucky because the night before I had finish rewriting her life sketch for the funeral. Later that morning I went to Uncle Ralph and Aunt Dorothy to give them the life sketch and any help that I can do. After I got there I notice that my Uncle Albert was there too. It was so nice to see him again. Anyways, I passed sketch around to see if it was to everyone's liking. The only person who made fun of me was Albert...he loves doing that. After figuring out somethings my family when to breakfast at Perkin's. I went with them and just got a banana nut muffin because I had already ate breakfast early that morning. Most of the time I was catching up with Albert. I've not seen him since I was 18 years old. Afterwards I had to go home to take some medicine for all the cramping I was starting to get. I headed back to Aunt Dorothy because she had asked me to go with them to the funeral home to get everything arrange for the funeral. After the funeral homes we when to Staker's Flowers for the flowers. I went home after that...I never been so tired in such a long time.
For the next few days I communicated with the funeral home for the program and newspaper. That Friday, we bury great grandma right by Great grandpa's grave. At the end of the viewing, Stefanie and I got to put the veil on great grandma before closing the coffin. That what really made me cry alot...along with Korey getting the graveside ready for great grandma. Dad came to the graveside service because he was fashionable late...like always. ^-^
I am very happy that Great Grandma is now with Vera and Great Grandpa even tho I am still missing her a lot just like Great Grandpa.
