One Of Those Moments

(This post is just me ranting off some very heavy stress. If you don't want to know about it, go ahead and skip over this post.)

As many of you know, we have been having a very hard time getting pregnant due to my PCOS. Well, today I had one of THOSE moments. I heard about women who have babies and they are twice my size or something along those lines. Then I hear about women how have worst conditions then me like cancer who are still able to get pregnant without any problems. This really makes me blow a fuze.

I love my ward. They are all amazing and I care for them. But today I heard a story about a lady who had a child after she was worked on her thyroid cancer. Right then I just really wanted to scream out loud.  Don't get me wrong. I am happy that family was able to have such a little miracle to help them through some hard times. Blame the hardships for the pain right?

I just don't get why I have to deal with people who say "oh, it must not be your time" or "it will happen eventually, promise" or the most famous one that I keep getting "do you really want to deal with kids or even have them?" That saying comes a lot from people outside of the church and I really want to smack them. Sometime I even get "the Lord doesn't give you more than you can handle"...wrong. That is the only way the Lord can test you. Think about it people.

I really want our children. I had to go thru huge changes in my life on top of a miscarriage and dealing with the hardships of getting pregnant when everyone around me is and some very stupid doctors. It has been over 2 years since I have had the miscarriage. The memory is still very fresh in my head and it will be for a very long time. Let this be a ward to people who don't know the hardships of infertility, don't just assume that things will work out for other and telling them that. Just be there and listen to what they have to say...it will help in more ways than one. Promise.

One Busy Saturday

Saturday was so busy!!! We had so much to do and things that are happening this next few months.

Let's see, the day started off wrong. Logan forgot to finished setting the alarm clock and we ended up getting up over more than an hour. We was actually cutting it to two hours too. So we got up and Logan run to the bathroom and I made breakfast for us. As soon as I finished, I hurried up and jumped in the shower myself. We was suppose to be at our church building at 9:30am but we actually didn't get there until 10 o'clock. We are in the primary. We teach the sunbeams and we was practicing for the Primary Program that was today. (Because of the Primary Program I wasn't able to go to see Kaya's Homecoming talk...I felt bad. At least she understand why). We even got out of there late because they were having trouble getting the pizza there. And I am proud to say that I did not take a piece of pizza. Logan had a piece...I let him considering he has already lost 20 lbs from the last 2 1/2 months. We got home about 1 o'clock that afternoon.

As soon as we got home, we had to start getting ready to be a the temple by 1:30. Logan's sister Amanda was getting her endowments. Before getting there, we headed to subway and had a small lunch. We got there about 15 minutes earlier than planned and found out that Logan's mom left her camera at home. So we went to her house (which is 5 minutes away from the temple) and picked it up and was soon back at the temple. By the time we got back, it was time to head in. Amanda's good friend Jason and his mom came for it. It was really nice. Every one that came was us, Barbara, Carolyn, Amanda, Jason and his mom ( don't know her name yet).  I always seems to get experiences of some type of emotions whenever I go through a session or a sealing. With the recent struggles, I ask the Lord for help but I got something so surprising that I was so happy that I was crying to the point I had snot running everywhere. I was so embarrassed!!!!

I was able to clean up and was the last one out. As soon as we got out of the temple we took a few pictures for the experience. Amanda again told us about how her mom said to take a few pictures of us (Logan's Mom is always the one taking the pictures....so when we heard about this we were all surprised). Afterwards, we (Jason, Amanda, Carolyn, Barbara, Logan and I) went to Apple bee's for dinner. Later, Barbara dropped off Jason and ran to the store before meeting us back at her place. We than had brownies (fudge-like which is not Logan's favorite) and ice cream and Logan opened up his presents. He got a propane lantern and swiss rolls which I have asked if he could throw away but he has said that he will take his time eating them.

After that, we had to go and get my sister, Breanna and her step-brother Carl and watch them for a few hours which ended up like an extra hour. But we went to get Logan's present from me at petsmart. I'll write about that in the next post. We than we back to our place and played RockBand Lego. She really love that one. We played until we where so tired that all we can do was watch t.v. until her mom got here. Than off to bed!

October General Conference 2012 Saturday

For conference today, I went over to Kaya's and Marlene's house. Logan was working all day and so I didn't really want to watch it alone so I asked if I can join them for conference since Logan wasn't going to be able to watch it with me. So they let me come over and watch with them. I was there the whole day.

Today we also receive great news from President Monson about missionaries:

And the next two things that I saw was this (without the words):

And Kaya jumping everywhere! She was so excited that she was talking so fast in Spanish. These was a few of the highlights of the day beside conference and the speech from Shayne M. Bowen.

I really love conference. It has confront me in so many ways today. I hope that tomorrow is just as good as today was. ^-^

Plus I love this saying by Ann M. Dibb (Second Counselor). I'll have to put in my own touch but it would look really great!

Bountiful Temple

The weekend before Carolyn's wedding, we went and watch her get her endowments from the Bountiful Temple. Everyone who went was Barbara, Katlin, Logan and I. It was so different from the Idaho Falls Temple but it was special in it's own way. I love the view too! It was so green and colorful from all the flowers.

Christmas 2011

So for you that don't know this but Logan and I really have Christmas on two days. Christmas Eve and Christmas. On Christmas Eve, we go to my dad's side of the family for christmas along with a few other people's house. But this year, Korey got to go again along with Amanda, Steve and the kids. It was such a blast. After the Christmas party, we went to my Dad's and talk with Korey up until about 11:30pm. We than left for home because we had a long day a head of us. By the time we got home it was about midnight, so Logan and I decided to open presents from each other. I got a lot of stuff for baking and making flowers for cakes along with a cd, two movies, gift card to B&N and german chocolate (my favorite!!). Logan got a cd, a movie, a card game and lots of candy.

We than went to bed, woke up early and went to church. We than went to my mom's house and handed out presents there to my sister Brooke, brother Char, mom and brad. About 2:30 pm, we headed over to Logan's mom's house. We was there early and Nathan, Kat, and Nat didn't get there until closer to four. Anyways, somehow I ended up fall asleep on their floor and woke up at the moment Nathan and everyone got there. It's was pretty funny but I also felt really embarrassed about it too. We than handed out present and opened them. We also play a few games before we had to go to the next place. It was a blast. The last place that we had to visit was my Dad's house. Again and for the last time this year, we handed out christmas presents. Everyone loved their presents! I know that I didn't get some of the presents done but I will! I was just over packed with things and appointments and watching my niece and nephew. But even though it was hard for me this year, I really did love the holidays and I always will too. I hoped everyone had an amazing Christmas! ^-^

Korey's Last Email

Can you believe that Korey is coming home next Wednesday!!! I can't and can! I missed him so much. He's done such a great job during his mission and we are all proud and happy to see him again. I still have to make his home welcoming banner some time soon. I'm trying to get my little sisters to help out but I don't know if they will or not. I'll see in the next few days. Plus I need to make sure I wrap his birthday present from May. ^-^ So much to do in so little time ^-^.  Anyways, here's his last email to all of us.

"Wow, I can't believe it has been two years already and then again I feel it as well it has been a long time since I have been home.  I am making sure that I am working as hard as I can out here and not let the fact that I am going home next week get to me.  It can be quite a challenge when everyone around you is always asking me how far away airplanes are, mission joke I can explain it latter.  We went to the temple today and everyone who goes home next week had the opportunity to go into a meeting with the temple president together.  It was really cool since how yesterday the old temple president left and now there is a new one.  Also because he himself presided over this area a while ago as a mission president as well except when the Washington DC North, South, and Baltimore mission were all one in the same.  Because of him and his wife we have what is called the "Festival of Lights" every Christmas and "Why I Believe" every month.  Tomorrow I get to go for my final interview with our mission president President Matsumori, I am very excited for that it will be a really amazing experience.  I am going to make this last week a good one and then I will see all of you shortly.  Love you all."

Day 7 of San Diego Vacation - Marine Corp. Boot Camp

We got up early and got ready. We wanted to get there early but unfortunately the shuttle service was very behind on schedule and we ended getting there an hour later than we wanted. When we got there, we meet up with my little's brother's dad Carl (he is not my father but we share the same mom) and his wife Sandy. We then went by where the graduation was at. All the recruits were suppose to run a mile before being released to clean up. When I saw him I cried and I could tell that his can become such a gentlemen. Again, after the mile the recruits when and cleaned up and we meet them all at the spot where they would be graduating the next day. They than had a small talk with the parents and the recruits.
He is the first one in the back
As soon as they released them, everyone ran to see their loved ones...including me. I was so surprised. I was crying and  I couldn't make myself stop. I missed him so much. We then when to a lunch that the LDS Church had provided (that's correct...he was still attending church while in boot camp). We sat and talk for a while about everything and everyone and what he hope to do and what he will be doing in when he went back to work for the Marines. I was so proud of him when I heard that he was was one of the highest rank recruits in his battalion. He ended up getting to rises in the last week. Anyways, while we were in the lunch, the church had a tradition.

These recruits are all of the LDS members who finished boot camp.
The generals there introduce themselves along with their rank and how long they have served in the Marines. Afterwards, they then would give a small history lesson about the church in the service of the Marines.
This is Cale introducing himself to everyone at the lunch.

The general was cutting the cake with a marine sword...I thought that was pretty cool.

Than the general asked the recruits to state their names, ranks, where they were from and where they will be going.

After the introduction, they ended the tradition with the cutting of the cake with a Marine's sword. Overall, it was very touching to see and learn what the church does with services.

The Marine Corp Base was an experience that I never thought I would enjoy being there....when I heard that Logan wanted to stay there while we are down there, not only did it scary me but I didn't want to end up seeing my brother everyday and cry every time I saw him. But to tell you the truth, I'm glad that I saw my little brother, Cale, graduate from boot camp. He's turn into such a gentlemen and cares so much for so many people. I think that when he got in to the marines that he thought about his family and his future family. It's not everyday that you can protect your love ones all the time from so many things. And I also notice what so many men and women do to protected their country.

17 Miracles

Has anyone heard about this movie, 17 Miracles?
If you have not, I recommend going and seeing it. I have heard some many stories about the pioneers but actually seeing what they when through...It's a totally different experience. I also recommend it has a family home evening activity too. I promise you, you will be touched in some many ways.
