Been So Long

Wow, I can't believe that life has been so busy and it's taken me this long to even write anything. The last time I wrote in here was in May. There has been so many things happening for us. Some not so good and some as been an adventure.

Let's see..at the end of May, we ended up adopting a dog so that Aeris would have someone to play with so I could get stuff done around the house instead of always playing with her. The dog we adopted is named Layla, she is a full bred german sheppard but the smaller bred. She is only a month older then Aeris is. She is very much like a guard dog. She doesn't play as much as Aeris does and she is always on guard even if she is laying down or if she is just watching me doing stuff. We got her from the Pocatello pound. She is very sweet and loves meeting new people now. Layla didn't really like Aeris at first but that's only because she just got fixed and was very sore. But now they are best friends!

June...nothing much happen. We was adjusting to having two dogs around the house and making sure that they got a long. We worked on the garden a lot. It is now finish. We laid the bricks for the walk way and it looks really nice now. I keep getting comments about it and how good it is. Oh...Cale, Allyssa and Bryson where also in town.

July...there was the fireworks. We actually had a family bbq at our house. We invited everyone from my side of the family over. Afterwards, we watched the fireworks at the soccer fields and then held our own show. It was a lot of fun. I got to spend a lot of time with Cale, Allyssa, and little Bryson. The weekend afterwards Oaklen had a birthday party. This time he had gotten one of those huge blown up watersides. It was a lot of fun. The week and a half later I found out that my grandma was in the hospital and no one knew she was there the for 4 days. She was there because she didn't keep up on her diagnosis. She spent the rest of the month there trying to get her body from breaking down.

August...My grandma's condition was then realize...it was much worst then what the doctors had thought. She needed to get a heart valve transplant because the diagnosis had caused so much calcification that the valve wasn't working the right way.  The heart doctor recommend that we sent my grandma to SLC for heart surgery or she would died within a month to 6 months. She decided to go for it and was transfer around for a while until after the surgery was performed. We call and checked up on her a lot. While this was going on, I ended up getting pregnant again but lost it without realizing that I had gotten pregnant until afterwards. In a way, I am thankful that it didn't happen like the last time.

September...on the 3rd we rushed down to SLC because we was told that my grandma was worst to the point that she was on life support. When we got there, we found out that she was doing really well. Hardly had her oxygen mask on. Let's just say, I was not happy at all with everything and the mix messages that we was getting. So we meet with the doctor and the case manager and decided that we wanted Grandma to come home asap. We then told my mom and her siblings what was really going on. After meeting with the doc and case manager, we went and talked to grandma for a while and my mom and uncle talked to her. We stay for a little bit longer before heading home. That Saturday night, she passed away. I spent a lot of the time helping my mom put the funeral together and putting together her life sketch as best as possible. The next saturday we held a graveside services for her and I gave her life sketch. I was happy she wasn't in any pain anymore but it hurt to see her go. Due to my grandma passing, we didn't do anything for our anniversary. The rest of the  month didn't have anything going on.

October...Shami turn 17 this year. She didn't really do anything for her birthday but we did get her a present. Followed soon afterwards was Brooke's 18th birthday. A week later I found Opa had to be rushed to the hospital early in the month  because he thought he had kidney stones. When in to surgery and had his gallbladder taken out along with some stones but the ones that where causing all the pain they couldn't get to. So Opa had to wear a bag while they flushed his liver and panaceas clean to remove the stone for about 3 weeks before they came out. The doctors then tested the stones. At the end of the month, we was told that Opa had liver cancer and it was spending to his panaceas pretty fast and there was nothing that they could do. So we spend as much time with Opa as were could.  On the 27th, Brooke and Grayson got married thru the courts so that he could be back in time for they wedding. It's was really weird reason but it had to be done. I ended up being one of the witnesses (Grayson father was the other one).

November...Korey flied back at the begin of the month. We was up at the house almost nightly. It was hard to see Opa getting ready to pass as the days went by. The first friday night, we went up on the hill to see him like we usually did when things took a turn for a worst. It hit me really hard, so hard that I didn't want to leave him. A lot of the my male cousins, uncles and Logan gave Opa a blessing. My own mother came up soon afterwards and took me out of the room after getting chewed out by Opa (it was pretty funny. That was the most that Opa talk that night). Soon afterwards, we went home. I was very much tired and had a lesson to finish to prepare for my primary class. After church the next day, Korey and Logan was acting strange until I figured out that Opa had passed around 3 and gotten a text from my dad about it. We then held his funeral the following Saturday. Korey got to tell half of Opa's life sketch. I had never cried so hard since I lost my great grandpa brown when I was 7 or 8. I still cry over the fact that Opa is no longer here but I know he is happy. The same day as the funeral, Mom had a Thanksgiving Dinner at her house because Grayson was heading out to Boot Camp and wasn't going to be here until around christmas then would be back until June. Thanksgiving Day was spend at Logan's Mom's house with all of Logan's siblings and nieces. It was a nice change of pace for us. Our cute little nieces were growing so fast and getting prettier by the day. We helped put up Barbara's (Logan's mom) christmas stuff. The next day we when back over and had our Christmas day with them and opened presents. From Katlin and Nathan, we ended up going out and eating dinner on them and Logan's Mom took all the siblings and couples to The Forgotten Carols (which by the way was Logan and my first time to see it). I told Logan that we should look into going ever year to it.

That is pretty much what has happen up to December. The only thing that has been done this month was putting up our christmas tree. This week is the Gilbert's Christmas Party and in another week will be Katlin's and Nathan's wedding anniversary along with Oma's birthday.

Well now you are back up to day. More to come soon.

Another Niece!

We got another little niece recently. Carolyn and Joseph had their baby on April 11.

Meet Rosalie Ellen De Luca
7lb 13oz and 20 1/2 inches

We wasn't able to go see the day that she was born due to being so busy at home building a garden. We did end up seeing her the 27th. We made a day trip to Ogden to see them all.  Sadly I wasn't able to hold her a lot because I just got done being sick and I would hate myself if I got her sick when she was so little but Logan got to hold her for a while. She mostly slept the whole time we was there. She got her looks from the De Luca Family but her hair is from her mom.

Here are the pictures that we took while we was there. She is such a cutie. I can't wait to see her again.

Making Another Decision

A lot of people know that I love my D.O. doctor and my new Gyn/OB doctor...but for some reason things just aren't connecting and working. I mean I do have an amazing gyn/ob doctor who put in the time to figure out what was really going on with my infertility problems and my d.o. who got me pregnant 6 months after I started to see her.

On top of that, I have done so much studying on PCOS, IR, Adrenal Fatigue, and Hypothyroidism (problems that are all hormonal based). I am getting so confused. I know food is my best medicine at this point but there are so many things saying this veggie is bad for your thyroid or fruits can be bad for your sugar levels. And to top it off, there are so many people in my family that are having babies. Yeah...try dealing with fertility problems when most of your siblings are expecting (who are married). That throws some very huge loops with your emotions. I even helped with my sister-in-laws baby shower which by the way I had a blast doing.

So I decided on see a naturalpath doctor to see if I can more things figured out. I saw her Friday and let me tell you it was a great thing to go see her. By the way, her name is Dr. Karie Jonak. Anyways, let's say that it was amazing what she found out in 10 minutes.  There's a whole list full of stuff plus what I have already! Here is the list of things that she discover that was going on in my body.
  • Borderline anemia (most likely due to lack of copper)
  • 2 type of parasites
  •  Yeast
  • Bacteria
  • Mold
  • Not enough enzymes
  • Metal toxin buildup
  • Adrenal glands are shot (very badly too)
  • Intestines are a little back up due to the lack of enzymes
  • inflammation from pelvis up to my head
On the plus side, she commented on my white blood cells and uterus. She said that my white blood cells were amazing! And my uterus looks great even with all the hormonal problems I have. And while she was look at my blood and the map of my body (by blood) I got to see everything and understand why my body is doing what it is doing. I would say that I would send anyone to her.

Anyways, she give me a list full of stuff to do for a few things so I don't over whim myself with treatments. Here is what she is having me do right now until the next time on May 19th.
  • Adrenal support tincture blend - take 10 drops under the tongue in the morning and through out the day whenever my body is about to crash...usually up until about 5:30 pm or it has me up until 1 in the morning.
  • Sarsparilla formula tincture blend - this blend is just for my lack of progesterone in my body. It is from the sarsparilla root and is a lot easier on the than progesterone cream. I take 10 drops under the tongue 3 times a day.
  • Parasite Formula tincture blend - this one is for a the parasites in my body...take 10 drops under the tongue morning and night and keep it under my tongue for a minute.
  • Smoothie - this smoothie that I am to take daily has a beet, carrots, celery, strawberries to taste, lemon (peeled), 1/2 cup of papaya and 1 tbsp of papaya seeds. This is suppose to help with the borderline anemia, getting more enzymes in my body and digestive system. She told me to get the papaya from Mexico because the other ones have lots of GMOs in them.
  • Castor oil package - I have to put this on my area where I have my ovaries and uterus at. It will help with the metal buildup in that area. What I do is take an old towel and soak it in castor oil with a few drops of lavender essential oil (helps with healing) put it in that area then wrap it with plastic wrap and put a hot rice bag on top of it. What this is suppose to do is help open up my tubes and get the cysts to go away. I guess I will see when I go back to Dr. Merrill for an ultrasound.
  • Emergen "C" package - I am suppose to combine it with cream of tartar, grapefruit seed oil, and sliverboitics. This is suppose to help with lots of stuff...to tell you the truth I forgot what it did but it does something that helps.
AS of Saturday afternoon, I have so much energy! I feel great and happy. Not really feeling sick or tired which I am loving! I've never had results this fast in any treatments! I am so happy. I have caught up on a lot of stuff and still catching up on things. I can even help Logan out more getting the garden ready to plant all the seeds we have. I have been trying to talk Logan to go in and see Dr. Jonak for his skin condition. I will see if I can get him to. I can't wait to see the end results of this now.

Day 6 - Conference Again and Tour of Pisa

Logan had part of today for the conference while the other part was for touring Pisa.

We walked about 20 minutes from the hotel to see the leaning tower of Pisa! It was so busy. There is a market place right before you go through the gate to get to the tower, cathedral, Baptistry and cemetery (along with many museums around them). Here are some pictures:

A map of the Plaza Duomo

This is how busy it is most of the time in the plaza

There was so much in this plaza to do. There was also a lot of gift shops with so many neat things. I just felt bad that we couldn't take more back with us than what we got for family. I will say this tho...I don't think I'll every go into another cathedral in Italy. This one had a glass coffin in it with a dead person in it (take note: the person was important to them) and than on the other side of the cathedral there was a skull in a small glass box. It creeps me out so  much! Don't get me wrong...dead body don't really scary me...its just the fact that it was on show-case for the whole world to see.

We decided not to go up the leaning tower because you had to get to the top and back down within 30 minutes. I did find it pretty cool how it was leaning. We went to all the museums too. It was so much fun. On the way, back Logan got a spicy chicken Doner Kebab and I got some gelato ice cream.

The End of the Cleanse with Results

Well guess what! I finally finished my cleanse/detox! It has helped so much! I am thinking of doing this every year with the results that I have gotten. I know that every time will have different results but it will help me in a long run no matter what I do.

Anyways, I've lost at least 5 inches (mostly around my tummy) around my body and up to 10 lbs lost (I am now down to 165). I feel so skinny (even tho I know that it's not much be it sure has boost my confidences)! I have been looking in the mirror and seeing myself has a different yet same me that I've not seen in a while. Logan has even commented on a lot how I seem more like myself a little. I would recommend everyone doing it at least once a year doing some type of cleanse or detox or both. I have even decided to add in more vegetables and fruit. I think that I may have a gluten-intolerance but I will have to work on that when we get back from Italy. The most funny thing out of this whole this is that I crave salads all the time! Logan thinks this soooo funny!

I will probably doing this again but for 3 days after we get back from Italy.

Day 5 Of Young and Raw Cleanse

So here is how I am doing on this detox.

Day 2: I would have to say that this day was one of the hardest days. I had so many cravings like chicken. It was really weird. A lot of things didn't really tasted very good to me either. I got really grumpy and upset. I didn't like how everyone was cooking all these things that I would eat. It made it ten times harder to be good and follow the cleanse like I am supposed to. Besides getting really annoyed and grumpy, most of the day I felt ok besides the on and off of energy. I wasn't able to finish the last meal...actually I should say that it was time for bed before I could make the last meal.

Day 3: I would have to say that on this day...I was the sickest so far. I felt like throwing up so much, had really bad headaches, and more. I was also sensitive to lights and the sunlight that is coming from the windows. I was able to eat all the meals. I really loved the blueberry hemp smoothies that I had a few hours before dinner. I will probably make that some more after I get with this cleanse.

Day 4:This day was the first day that I really got dressed since I started the cleanse. My pants on kind of lose again. I am happy that it is working out like it supposed to. At the end of the end I had cravings for coconut butter popcorn.

Day 5:I have to say that last night's dinner was gross! I don't think that will ever have that again. besides that it was pretty good. I also did a detoxing bath to help my skin. It's been getting a lot of bumps on my face. I don't think its acne but it something.

I am always fighting to get energy back somehow. Most days it is hard from me to do things just due to the fact that I don't ever really have enough energy to do anything. I have notice that my body is now no longer sleeping more than 8 or 9 hours of sleep which means that I can actually get up by 9:30 instead of the common 11:00-12:00.

Day 1 of Young and Raw Cleanse

Yesterday I started the young and raw cleanse. For me, this is my first time doing something like this...so due to this I feel really sick due to all the toxin releasing in my body.

Anyway, I do have to say that some of the meals are not something I would eat daily...some of them are just plain gross. I can even say that I will never be a vegetarian. But than again there are some surprising recipes that I just love and probably will make it after being on this cleanse. Overall, I can feel the difference that it has done for me. I don't feel as bloated anymore and my skin is starting to to show a difference also.

I am on day 2...and to tell you the truth I really want to quit this. But than I think of the benefits that it will do and than the how much I paid for food! That alone could make me stay on it. Anyways, I think I am going to go take a nap. Have a good day everyone.

Called In Early

This morning started with me waking up to a strong impression that I should get a hold of an old friend. Funny things is, I haven't heard from her since she was married. I also have no contact number or address...besides her mom's address and I don't think her mom really like me at the moment for some reason.

Anyways, after I got right out of bed, the Dr. office asked if I wanted to reschedule to an early time like 11:30 or noon. So I picked 11:30. I let Logan know considering that he was going with me to the appointment. We got there and got to business.

Dr. Wheeler said that my thyroid is better than it has been for a long time but than again she is confused to why my thyroid not going down. So she started to talk to us about iodine replacement therapy for my thyroid. She thinks that there is a possibility that I am low on iodine. I guess iodine helps the thyroid in a way but I am not sure how yet. More studying for me! She wants me to start taking iodine once a day (just a drop...I guess a drop has 500mg of iodine in it...) and she wants me to go on the gluten-free diet (for 3 months) and see if I have a gluten problem. She said that gluten problems and infertility are common together. I don't know if that's true but whatever. I am willing to try about anything natural over western medicine.  She also having me read up on the iodine therapy from a Dr. Brownstein.

After she talked about that, Logan and I asked about the low progesterone. At first, she was a little confused to the reason why we was asking about it until we told her what we found out. She than started asking me questions about my cycle. Come to find out that she did know everything that was going on with my cycles (every pcos woman symptoms are different and no one is the same). So we (Logan and I) talked more about the symptoms and what the natural progesterone cream can do for me. From the appointment, it sounded like she didn't even considered that I am be low in progesterone but now she is wondering if I am low in both estrogen and progesterone. She is willing to try the NPC if I am low on progesterone.

So now we are looking at 2 things: 1) We need to figured out if the problem is hormonal or just my thyroid or both and 2) get me off of all the medicines due to the fact I have a hard time with them.

The funniest part about the appointment today was when I told her about what Dr. Leavitt was planning on doing. She was so annoyed with him. She told me not to even worry about going back for a while. She wants to get down the problem sooner than later and Dr. Leavitt was just starting at the beginning which I have already done.

Later Logan and I went to the public library and checked out some books on gluten-free diet and meals along with one on progesterone. We also ordered some books that we wasn't able to get at the library. We will be getting those books next Tuesday. Logan and I both think that we are heading in the right direction and that soon we will figure out what is the really problem behind everything that's going on.

My next appointment is on May 9th. Before than I have to get a lot of blood test done. One is to check my thyroid levels (like normal), one to check to see if my thyroid is being attacked by my body, and one for checking my progesterone level.

Lots is going on. I just hope it's figured out soon!

Round 1: Finished Clomid and Side-effects

Yesterday I finished my first round of clomid. I now have to wait even longer to see if it worked. I'm waiting on a call from my doctor about a question but besides that everything is going good. I did have some side-effects from it. Not many tho. I was surprised. I thought I would have a lot more just because I don't really ovulate all that much. Here are the days or clomid and it's side-effect:

Day one: I got really tired to the point of wanting to sleep all day long. I also got a really bad headache with hardness to see sometimes. I didn't get the moodiness that  a lot of people complain about. I also had lots of heat flashes...and I mean lots. I was drinking so much water!

Day two: I was still really tired and got heat flashes again...about the same as day one. I had a headache here and there but wasn't has bad as day one.

Day three: By this point, I started to feel less tired and no headaches. I did get lots of heat flashes.

Day four: Lots of heat flashes again. Whenever I got stressed out I would be a little moody....especially towards the end of the day.

Day five: Again...heat flashes...maybe even more than the other days. Again lots of water. I was more moody today due to the fact that I was stressed and had a lot of things to get done.

Now that I am off it, I don't seem so moody...but tired again. I still get lots of heat flashes. I still can't believe that there is still lots of days before I know if it has helped out not. All wait...I guess it's a good thing that I started this around the holidays so they make me busy so it's harder to sstressed out about it.

Yellowstone Park

I'm so far behind on my posts. I have about 4 or 5 months behind...I feel really lazy. Anyways, I guess the first step is by finishing this post. ^-^

So I went to Yellowstone Park for the first time and it was pretty cool. We didn't see much animals but we did see some. Anyways, Barbara, Amanda and Logan took me to the Fairy Falls hike....it took us about 4 or 5 hours long. To be truthful, I have never been on that long of a hike. My longest hike would have to be 3 hours. Towards the last third of the hike....I was so tired. I had knots in my feet the size of acorns!!

After the hike they took me to old faithful. I thought it was ok. The geyser that we saw on the hike to
Fairy Falls. But they did tell me that depending on how it goes off the last time, it can be better too. Something like that.We also went to see the boiling mud ( that seemed really odd to me) but they were really watery this year is what they all said. We also visited another falls...I think it was the Gibbs Falls. It was really pretty. Logan is taking me back this fall at the end of September. He want to take me back for our anniversary trip...so I guess this year we will have to visit a temple that we already have visited. ^-^ It will be a lot of fun.

Puerto Rico Day 1 & 2

So day one was consisted of flying, running, flying and eating. We first started in Salt Lake City at  six o'clock in the morning...yes that is right! 6 AM! We got in by 6:30 am and then we looked around for some breakfast because we left before breakfast was even out. The flight wasn't bad...I just couldn't get any sleep and the flying part was better than last time too. Our first stop was in Dallas, TX. We had an hour before the next flight we we still needed to get lunch. So we asked someone where the next gate was suppose to be because it wasn't on the boarding ticket and we really needed to go to the bathroom. The Dallas airport was so huge that we had to take a train-like thing that to the other side of the airport and in the end we made it right when they were at the end of loading people. This flight was different just because it's the longest flight that I have been on. Which by the way was 5 hours! I was ok with the first and second hour of the flight but than I got restless and so I ended up take a nap (how....I do not know.) which took up an hour and a half which left the half an hour. Than we arrive here in Puerto Rico! ^-^  It's so green here!! After we landed, we landed and found our taxi to our hotel. We arrive and checked in and found out that Logan didn't read the fine print and so we
ended up with a room with two full beds with the view above. We talked to the front desk and they change our room the next day to a room with a king bed and we are located right above the front door. I also have to admit that the taxi drive was nuts!! I was holding onto the seat beat for my dear life!

On the second day, we slept in for a while. I woke up at nine and Logan woke up at ten ( the hour difference is by two hours...so it would of be 11 for me and noon for Logan). We didn't do much today because we was still learning what going on around here and all the places and what not. I did end up passing out in the lobby while reading. We also when seashell hunting tonight and found about a pound of them. We also found a sand dollar. We are planning on going early in the morning so we can get some huge shells.Oh...here's some pictures of the back of the hotel.

Here's our favorite picture of the day. I hope you guys like it too.

Bountiful Temple

The weekend before Carolyn's wedding, we went and watch her get her endowments from the Bountiful Temple. Everyone who went was Barbara, Katlin, Logan and I. It was so different from the Idaho Falls Temple but it was special in it's own way. I love the view too! It was so green and colorful from all the flowers.

One Of The Worst Days Of Our Lives

So last posted talked about how my body was acting like it was pregnant...well I was. It was so exciting! We was so happy. I found out that I was 8 weeks along. I immediately called my doctors office February 1st when I found out. Anyways, the appointment was on that Friday the 3rd. Right after I found out I called Logan. It was so funny! He had a hard time believing that he was going to be a father. It almost took him...I'm thinking about 4 hrs before it sink in. That night to celebrate we went looking at baby stuff to get an idea of what it was going to be like shopping for it. The next few day was amazing! Logan really got into being a father and looking at what would be the best crib, car seat and etc. that we can afford for the baby and rubbing my tummy a lot.

Anyways, Friday round around and I went to the doctors. Dr. Wheeler was so happy for us! She told me to change my supplements and to schedule an appointment with an OB named Susie Binegar. She talked about what we should be aware of like most doctors do. After the appointment Dr. Wheeler sent me to get blood works for HCG levels, Progesterone level and an OB panel. I also schedule my first prenatal appointment for the Feb 22nd. Logan had to skip class for this and he said he won't missed the appointment for the world.

I went on with the day. I went to my mom's work and told her the good news along with my brother Korey. I also told the rest of my siblings (my sister Amanda was the first one to know out of my family because she always told me about hers when she found out), and Dad. I also asked them to not to tell anyone yet because I still didn't really know how far long I was. After that, I had to watch my niece and nephew for a few hours. Logan and I had the joy of tell them about how there was a baby in my "tummy". They were so happy. Taylor keep telling me it was going to be a girl and Oaklen was tell me it was a boy. A little after five I got a called from the doctors office said that I will need to get another HCG level test done. At that moment, I had this bad feeling...I told Logan about it and he try to calm me down. First off, I really shouldn't be stressing about a little blood work or it's results.

After he calm me down, we went to Logan's mom's house. We had hoped that there was going to be everyone there but only Logan and I, Barbara (Logan's mom), Kat and Natalie. Amanda had gone to Pocatello for the evening for a bridal shower and Nathan was helping out one of Kat's sisters. So I gave Logan the joy of telling his family about the baby. The reacting that we got wasn't what we was expecting but it was so funny! When Logan announced it, Kat said "I knew it!!! I was right"....we all kind of just looked at her in amusement. I guessed that Nathan and Kat both had guessed that I was pregnant the weekend BEFORE!!! I asked how she figured it out and she said that I was really happy and glowing. She than pulled out a little ones for us. It was so cute!! And I told her that I was going to tell everyone that Kat was the once one to get the baby something. Then all the questions started to be asked:

Due date: September 7-14 ( I was pretty sure that it was going to come on the 15th instead)
Names: I'm not going to post them...we kind of wanted to wait until the baby gets here. But we did have a girl's name but Logan and I had not decided on a boy's name yet.
Ultrasound: again...February 22nd.
What did we think it was: I had a pretty strong impression that it was going to be a boy.

I know we got asked a lot of question but I thought I would just put the commons ones on.

During the stay, I feel really weird...kind of panicking. I had started to spotting (which I told the doctor about and she said it was normal for first time pregnancy) a lot more...it started turning red. So I called my sister and she said that it may be a miscarriage or a period. I talked to my doctor again and she said take it easy for the weekend just in case so I did. I went out for a game and that's about it.

Sunday morning I just felt so tired. Logan went to church and I stay at home trying to get some rest, but as the day when by I really started to panic. I called Amanda again just to see if she can help me stop but once I got off the phone, I knew something wasn't right. Just after 2 I tried calling Logan but he didn't pick up. So I jumped in the shower thinking maybe that's all I need. When I was about to get out Logan got home and walked in  to see how I was doing. As I stopped showering, I felt like I was going to faint so I told Logan. Lucky, Logan was there to catch me while I passed out. After I woke up feeling so dizzy and I had to go to the bathroom. After that I knew I was losing the baby. Logan got me to the ER between 3-3:30. I was amazing at how fast they got me back to a room but than I had to do blood test, urine test and 2 ultrasounds. During the beginning of all the tests, I had Logan called our parent to let them know. We got a hold of my parents but not Logan's mom so he left a message to call him back. By the time we got done with the ultrasounds, we got a call from Logan's mom. We told her what was going on and she immediately left home and came to see us. When she got there we was still waiting for the news. When she walked in the room and just started crying again (I don't know how many times I cried while I was in the ER) and I kept on apologizing to her and Logan. Final the doctor came and give us the bad news. We had lost the baby...but I was doing fine. It was happening naturally so the doctor wasn't so worry about me besides it being my first pregnancy. He told me to go home and rest. He put me on bed rest for about a week. I had to call in work and tell them the news, lucky, they worked everything out with me peacefully. By that time, it was already 7pm and all I wanted to do was go home, take a shower, eat something, and have a blessing. Logan and Nathan both gave it to me over at Barbara's house that night.

Today, the bleeding has finally stop. I'm still tired from the miscarriage for many reasons (stupid nightmares). I had a doctor's visit with Dr. Wheeler. She was so sad to hear the news. But she also found out that I needed MMR shot. I am not immune to ruballa at the moment. A pregnant woman needs to be at the least a 5...I was a 4.1. So she told me to schedule a shot at health district and I had to get the shot before the next time we try for a kid and than we would have to wait a month before trying. She also told me that my HCG levels wasn't doing it's job...we don't really know that for sure tho. She decided the next time that I get pregnant to call at once and so they can get me in to do the panels and put me on some supplement to help me with my HCG levels during the pregnancy.

It's so weird how 4 to 5 days knowing that you are pregnant and than losing it was so fast. It was one of the hardest moments in our lives. I do not wish to go through that again. I will not pull Logan through it either. He had cried so much and tried to stay strong for me but it was hard for the both of us.

Day 6 of San Diego Vacation - Touring the Harbor

When we tour, we didn't do the whole Harbor. There is way too much visit for one day. We did get a tour around the harbor in a boat. I took way too many pictures even for me...and I don't know if I could even post most of them. There were many navy ships and other military things. I was surprise to know there was so many things from the military. The picture to the right is a old Navy ship that is retired. It is called "Midway". We went on the ship because Logan was looking to it so much. It was hard for me because of the smell, it made me very sick. So I stay where I can have fresh air while Logan went and looked around and explore.

We than went on a cruise ship It went around the North of the harbor and the South. It was really nice. There was so many thing that was amazing. Here are some pictures from the cruise. Again there where way too many pictures so I can't post all of them.

Anyways...while we was on the boat, the view was amazing! To see all those buildings and so high too! I could never really be on the top floor of one those...but they are pretty amazing. And there was the bridge too. It was pretty big. We didn't get to go on the bridge or go across. It's pretty amazing. As you can see from the picture, it's huge! I couldn't believe that there was a bridge this. I wished that we could of gone but we never got the time to go over it and what not.

In the end, it was a lot of fun and beautiful. I glad we went to the harbor.

Day 7 of San Diego Vacation - Marine Corp. Boot Camp

We got up early and got ready. We wanted to get there early but unfortunately the shuttle service was very behind on schedule and we ended getting there an hour later than we wanted. When we got there, we meet up with my little's brother's dad Carl (he is not my father but we share the same mom) and his wife Sandy. We then went by where the graduation was at. All the recruits were suppose to run a mile before being released to clean up. When I saw him I cried and I could tell that his can become such a gentlemen. Again, after the mile the recruits when and cleaned up and we meet them all at the spot where they would be graduating the next day. They than had a small talk with the parents and the recruits.
He is the first one in the back
As soon as they released them, everyone ran to see their loved ones...including me. I was so surprised. I was crying and  I couldn't make myself stop. I missed him so much. We then when to a lunch that the LDS Church had provided (that's correct...he was still attending church while in boot camp). We sat and talk for a while about everything and everyone and what he hope to do and what he will be doing in when he went back to work for the Marines. I was so proud of him when I heard that he was was one of the highest rank recruits in his battalion. He ended up getting to rises in the last week. Anyways, while we were in the lunch, the church had a tradition.

These recruits are all of the LDS members who finished boot camp.
The generals there introduce themselves along with their rank and how long they have served in the Marines. Afterwards, they then would give a small history lesson about the church in the service of the Marines.
This is Cale introducing himself to everyone at the lunch.

The general was cutting the cake with a marine sword...I thought that was pretty cool.

Than the general asked the recruits to state their names, ranks, where they were from and where they will be going.

After the introduction, they ended the tradition with the cutting of the cake with a Marine's sword. Overall, it was very touching to see and learn what the church does with services.

The Marine Corp Base was an experience that I never thought I would enjoy being there....when I heard that Logan wanted to stay there while we are down there, not only did it scary me but I didn't want to end up seeing my brother everyday and cry every time I saw him. But to tell you the truth, I'm glad that I saw my little brother, Cale, graduate from boot camp. He's turn into such a gentlemen and cares so much for so many people. I think that when he got in to the marines that he thought about his family and his future family. It's not everyday that you can protect your love ones all the time from so many things. And I also notice what so many men and women do to protected their country.

Day 4 of San Diego Vacation - Sea World

On Monday September 12th, Logan and I went to Sea World. It was so cool to actually go there. For the longest time I wanted to be a marine biologist (which is another story) and so seeing all the marine life was pretty amazing to me. Logan thought I was acting like a little kid the whole time we was there. I couldn't help it! We were able to watch the Shamu show and the dolphin show. Logan and I both agree that the whale do an amazing job at break dancing...well, that's what it looks like to us. ^-^ I also got to pet a dolphin!! I was so surprise when she come up to me and let me pet her!! I also got to feed the sea lions...and meet my worst enemy too!! Who would of though a mere bird would attack you over a fish that's 5 or 6 inchs long??? ^-^ The only thing that I didn't get to do that I wanted to do want swim with the dolphins...it was so much for just an hour. I'm hoping if we go to a Sea World again, we will have enough money planned for it.

It was such an amazing experience and I have to thanks Logan for being a great husband.

I decided to put just a few of my favorite pictures on the blog, because I  have over thousand from Sea World. I know...kind of crazy. But we enjoyed it alot.

Day 3 of San Diego Vacation - San Diego Zoo

On Sunday the 11th, we visited San Diego Zoo. It was really huge!! I've never seen or been in a Zoo so big! Here is a map of the zoo. We didn't get to all the animals because we ran out of time. But all the animals that we saw were amazing. We had so much fun watching the all the animals. We took a lot of pictures both Logan and I. Unfortunately, I got sick with my conditions so we didn't get to spend a lot of time at the zoo. Here's a few pictures that we took.

I loved seeing so many animals that I have never see before. Than again...I still had another day of so many new animals at Sea World. ^-^
