Another Niece!

We got another little niece recently. Carolyn and Joseph had their baby on April 11.

Meet Rosalie Ellen De Luca
7lb 13oz and 20 1/2 inches

We wasn't able to go see the day that she was born due to being so busy at home building a garden. We did end up seeing her the 27th. We made a day trip to Ogden to see them all.  Sadly I wasn't able to hold her a lot because I just got done being sick and I would hate myself if I got her sick when she was so little but Logan got to hold her for a while. She mostly slept the whole time we was there. She got her looks from the De Luca Family but her hair is from her mom.

Here are the pictures that we took while we was there. She is such a cutie. I can't wait to see her again.

Carolyn's Graduation

Yesterday we went to Utah for Carolyn's graduation. It was a lot of fun going there and seeing her talk in the ceremony and visit with family.

The day started with Logan getting up 20 minutes before he had to leave. I was still asleep pretty much for the first 10 minutes after I woke up. Soon after I woke up all the way I notice that Logan had forgotten some thing and left a lot of things that needed to be done. I had gotten them all done and was about to head over to Barbara's until I notice that I still haven't done my make-up. ^-^ So I ran back inside and did it really quick.

I got to Barbara's house at 9. I helped her get the things into the car and make sure the house was locked up. Afterwards we headed to Pocatello to pickup Logan after his class and than head towards Utah. We talked a lot on the way there. Logan also got a very good surprise...but I will leave that for another post.

We got there in time to go eat lunch at subway but it was so packed full that we decided to pretty much wait until dinner besides Logan. He had to eat something due to the fact that he skipped breakfast. So we went back to the college and Logan grabbed some snack bars that were sold there. We than headed for Temple Square. I was happy that we had came back to it. I sure missed it's beauty. Anyways, the graduation ceremony was being held in the old tabernacle building. I have never been in there but it was still just as breathe taking as another building on or by Temple Square.

Right before it started, Logan went our in front of the building to wait for everyone else that was coming while Barbara and I was both saving a spot for everyone. Soon after that, Barbara talked about how is was so excited about how Carolyn was speaking. I was so surprised! I didn't know. Than Logan came back and I told him and he said he knew too! It was on the invited...I was so embarrassed. Right before it started we was able to find Joseph and his family but not Logan's grandparents and aunt. The ceremony was very touching to me...I felt the spirit really well in there. When Carolyn got in there to give her talk I notice that she didn't have her speech on paper but instead she was speaking without it! I so surprised! Later I found out that she was reading off you speech from the broadcast screen. When I look at it it looks like it was just used so the lights didn't get in the people's face. I guess I was wrong. ^-^ After the ceremony, we was able to find Logan's grandparents. They were sitting on the other side of the building.

We finished at the building with some family pictures with Carolyn than off to Denny's. I was surprised that they had changed their menu a lot. There was actually a lot of choices that I could actually pick without worry. After dinner, Logan and I went and saw his grandparents for a while and than headed home.

The funniest and scariest thing about this whole trip is that Logan got us lost on the way home!! Instead of taking the road that heads towards Malad and Pokey, he took the Boise route...he didn't notice until I started panicking because I didn't remember any of the names that we was passing. But we did get home safely about 1 o'clock in the morning. ^-^

More post to come soon. ^-^

Joseph and Carolyn's Wedding

Joseph's and Carolyn's Wedding was so pretty.

The night before the Wedding, Logan, Barbara, Katlin, Amanda and I...with other family members went to the church building ready. It was so great to spend sometime the Logan's family. I was also very happy for Joseph. We got the reception area ready along with the Lunch-in for the family.

It was a beautiful day! I was fulled with love and joy. Logan got to be a witness for his sister's sealing I thought that was very special for him. There where so many tears of joy in the room. Logan and I both testify that we knew his Father was there for the evidence even tho he passed away a few years ago. At one moment, I also felt someone hugging me for comfort. I love sealings. I reminds you very time what you promised not only to the Lord but your spouse.

After the sealing, we all met outside and took lots of pictures! Katlin's sister was taking the pictures for the wedding. They all turned out great! We than went to the Lunch-in and got to meet everyone. Afterwards we had like 4 or 5 hours until the reception so I finished touching up the cake just in time for family pictures. Joseph and Carolyn loved your cake. I was really happy with the way it turn out. Somehow I got the yellow tint to the fondant which made the cake match the colors so much more.

During the reception, I did a lot of running around helping here and there. Getting the bride and groom drinks or food. I also got to talk to some of David's brothers (Logan's dad). It was nice to see them all again. Plus all of the other family members and friends. It was a great day. ^-^
