9/11

I remember waking up to my alarm and started getting ready for school. I don't know why, but right after I got up I when upstairs and started watching the news. To my surprise, one of the twin towers was hit by an airplane. To tell you the truth, I was 12 or 11 at the time so I didn't really have a clue of what was happening in New York City. I was just so surprised. After watching the news for about 10 minutes, I was force to finish getting ready and I headed to school. When I got to school, everyone was talking about the twin tower being hit. Because of the huge tragic, school wasn't a learning place that day for about half of the day. Every classroom that I was in, we watched the news about the tower...and about the second plane. It got to the point where everyone was crying and really scared over the whole thing so the teachers decided to actually start school. I didn't hear anything about the 3rd and the 4th plane until later that month. To this every day, I sill wasn't sure of what had happen until I asked Logan about the details about it yesterday since he was 15 or 16 years old and knew what had happened. It's still very scary considering that I rode a plane here to San Diego...

I know that the airports are much more up tight, but it's still scary. I don't know how long it's going to be before I get over it. I still cry whenever I see the events that took place 10 years ago. Watching so many families lose love ones in only a few seconds. I am proud to live in America and I love the people who serve this country because I know that they will do anything to keep our freedom. God bless American and her people.

(I wrote this really late so if it sounds funny, I am sorry.)
